AI is already reshaping how health plans connect with members. But persistent, old assumptions keep many organizations from moving forward.
Alongside our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Dr. Geeta Nayyar, MD, MBA , I recently presented on this topic at AHIP.
Here are five common myths and the realities we addressed during our talk.
Myth 1: “Our members won’t engage with us.” Reality: Members engage when outreach is relevant. Personalized healthcare interactions - refill reminders, diabetes program enrollment nudges, preventive screening invitations - consistently outperform generic outreach.
